St. Paul's Reformed Church

Welcoming & Affirming

SPECIAL MESSAGE BY THE CONSISTORY OF ST. PAUL'S:

St. Paul's Reformed Church continues to experience deep disappointment at the
decision by the General Synod at its June 2012 meeting to reaffirm the position
that homosexual behavior is a sin according to the Holy Scriptures. As a
welcoming and affirming church, we reaffirm our position that the Scriptures
teach us of God's inclusive love and grace. We continue to support and advocate
for the full inclusion of all people, including our gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and
transgendered brothers and sisters, in the life and ministry of Christ's church.
Also, we extend to all who have been pained by the decision of the General
Synod our support and prayers. - (The Consistory of St. Paul's, July 16, 2012
)

Believing that the fullness of God's love is for all people, we are intentionally inclusive
of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people, their families and friends.

and orientation in relation to Christian life.
